Hey guys

Some highlights of Salt Lake City. A place with beautiful mountains and buildings. Definitely a place worth visiting.

‘Salt Lake City is the capital and the most populous municipality of the U.S. state of Utah. With an estimated population of 190,884 in 2014, the city is the core of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, which has a population of 1,153,340 (2014 estimate). Salt Lake City is further situated within a larger metropolis known as the Salt Lake City–Ogden–Provo Combined Statistical Area. This region is a corridor of contiguous urban and suburban development stretched along an approximately 120-mile (190 km) segment of the Wasatch Front, comprising a population of 2,423,912 as of 2014. It is one of only two major urban areas in the Great Basin (the other is Reno, Nevada).

The world headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) is located in Salt Lake City and the city’s street grid system is based on the temple constructed by the Church at its center. The city was originally founded in 1847 by Brigham Young, and other followers of the Church, who were seeking to escape religious persecution in the mid-western United States. These Mormon pioneers, as they would come to be known, at first encountered an arid, inhospitable valley that they then extensively irrigated and cultivated, thereby establishing the foundation to sustain the area’s large population of today.

Due to its proximity to the Great Salt Lake, the city was originally named “Great Salt Lake City”; however, the word “great” was dropped from the official name in 1868 by the 17th Utah Territorial Legislature.

Immigration of international LDS members, mining booms, and the construction of the first transcontinental railroad initially brought economic growth, and the city was nicknamed the Crossroads of the West. It was traversed by the Lincoln Highway, the first transcontinental highway, in 1913, and presently two major cross-country freeways, I-15 and I-80, intersect in the city. Salt Lake City has since developed a strong outdoor recreation tourist industry based primarily on skiing, and hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics. It is the industrial banking center of the United States’

Austin Nevada – Part 2 “The Way It Was Grand Tour”

Views:2735|Rating:4.63|View Time:57:45Minutes|Likes:25|Dislikes:2
It all started in 1862 when a pony express ride by the name of W.H. Talcott’s horse kicked up a rock at the mouth of pony canyon which turned out to be high grade silver and gold ore. This led to a silver rush by the time the mid 1860s rolled around this town boasted a lumber mill, saloons, brothels, assay office, banks, hospital, hotels, telegraph station, four hundred houses and at least 10k residents. Although floods, fires and elements have erased a large portion of this living ghost town what does remain are some of the finest structures in the wild west such as its frontier churches. Austin held the Lander County seat for many decades it also brought millions of dollars in silver revenue and for a short time hosted the Nevada Central Railroad. This was a town that boasted the good, bad and the ugly everything from epidemics to axe yielding men and frontier justice. Austin not only has one of the oldest saloons/hotels in the state but one of the last Greek revival court houses in the nation and one of the oldest operating Nevadan newspapers that still exist today. Today life has slowed down in Austin to about 200 residents. Many shops thrive on tourism and the sale of there jewelry. Life in this canyon dates back to 3,500 years ago when the Shoshone used Pony Canyon to hunt and sustain themselves. We welcome you to journey with us as I take our friends and viewers to the way it was!

Let me take the time to welcome you to the first Catholic Church of NV which resides in the center of Virginia City. Though many hardships this parish was founded over 150 years ago and is a prominent structure downtown which serves as a piece of history. We invite you inside to take a good look at some of this history as we uncover its secrets of ghostly activity and value many holy relics inside. You can see photos from this church at

While in Colorado Springs, Colorado on May 13, 2009, I decided to visit the World Prayer Center. The place is HUUUUUUUGE! Can you say “MegaChurch”?

Their address is: 5575 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918 – (719) 262-9922

Global Harvest Ministries and The World Prayer Center is dedicated to raising the prayer effort to “pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into His harvest” and see all peoples and nations hear the good news that Jesus has given us eternal life through His death and resurrection.

Adjacent to Global Harvest Ministries is The World Prayer Center. The Prayer Center is a joint effort of several fundamentalist organizations but located at and presided over by New Life Church – houses a bookstore called Solomons Porch, as well as corporate prayer rooms, personal prayer closets, hotel rooms, and the headquarters of Global Harvest, a ministry dedicated to spiritual warfare. (The Prayer Centers nickname in the fundamentalist world is spiritual NORAD.)

Peter Wagner is the President of the Global Harvest Ministries.

Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders (ACPE). A group of 25 respected prophets meet with me every fall to seek a word from the Lord for the following year. Meanwhile, we all stay in touch with each other and we support each other’s ministries as opportunity arises. Cindy Jacobs prepares the agenda and serves as the ACPE Scribe to compile and issue the forthcoming prophetic document. This is a closed group.
