Pledge 1$/month to support this channel – Ricardo Leyva Muñoz Ramírez, known as Richard Ramirez (February 29, 1960 – June 7, 2013), was an American serial killer, rapist, and burglar. His highly publicized home invasion crime spree terrorized the residents of the greater Los Angeles area, and later the residents of the San Francisco area, from June 1984 until August 1985. Prior to his capture, Ramirez was dubbed the “Night Stalker” by the news media. He used a wide variety of weapons, including handguns, knives, a machete, a tire iron, and a hammer. Ramirez, who was an avowed Satanist, never expressed any remorse for his crimes. The judge who upheld his thirteen death sentences remarked that Ramirez’s deeds exhibited “cruelty, callousness, and viciousness beyond any human understanding”.[1] Ramirez died of complications from B-cell lymphoma while awaiting execution on California’s death row.

Exploring the Farms and Desert in Southern California

Exploring the farms and desert in southern California! WIth our extra day in Los Angeles, we decided to head to Bakersfield and explore the farming in the area. We saw oranges, almonds, lettuce, cabbage, romaine, onion, carrots, grapes, potatoes, etc. It is unbelievably diverse in the San Joaquin area of the central Valley! After that we headed east to Lancaster and checked out the Kill Bill Church before heading to Santa Clarita for some dinner than on to LAX!

I am a 5th generation family farmer from West-Central Minnesota. The recent interest in food, combined with a large amount of ‘misinformation’ has driven me to start this channel. I hope to be someone people can relate to and trust when they question how their food is grown and raised. I also hope to become a ‘smarter’ farmer through my experiences with this channel. I strongly believe we must have an open mind and a willingness to learn about others, or we cannot move forward as one. My goal is to build the connection between farmers and consumers by facilitating a collaborative conversation amongst everyone. I do this by sharing my day-to-day farming experiences, my opinions on certain topics, and occasionally visiting other farms and businesses to help better understand other farming and business practices. There is no limit to where this channel may go, so please join me!!

moving from Los Angeles to Seattle In Day 3 I’m sick of my twin sister
catch up on yesterdays vlog:
The road trip from san francisco to portland oregon begins today. My twin sister and my best friend first visit my grandma, then we hit the road. It was only a 3 hour drive to portland, so we got there quick and got to explore the city and get dinner!

3 years ago I moved from Seattle to Los Angeles for College, now im moving back for the summer! Today is day 3 of the roadtrip.

Welcome to my vlog of My Millennial Life Crisis, or MLC for short. MLC is also short for Monica Lucy Church, my name! I’m hoping to get into daily vlogging. I’m not sure if I will be able to keep it up, but here goes nothing. I’m just a 20 something year old girl who dropped out of college to pursue a lifestyle on the internet. Lately I’ve been waking up finding myself unsatisfied with what I am doing. Like most people my age, I have no clue what to do with my life. I know what I’m good at and what I want out of life, so it’s time to make a change. Listen to the largest church pipe organ in the world, located at the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles, California. This pipe organ has five keyboards, and consists of 20,417 pipes. Sorry the video footage isn’t that great; took with my phone, and at an angel where I wont be blocking other’s views. The point of the video is to hear the organ more than watch the video.

Pac Div – Rollin ft. Ty$ * Palmdale * Southern California *

Pacific Division, better known as Pac Div is a rap trio composed of two brothers, Like and Mibbs, longtime friend, BeYoung and in-house producer Swiff D. Based in Southern California, Pac Div started rapping together in high school. Originally an eleven-member crew, they shrank to three in 2005 when it became apparent that a group with that many members just wasn’t feasible.

Pac Div’s first mixtape, Sealed for Freshness: The Blend Tape, along with their first video, F.A.T Boys, was released in 2006 to critic acclaim. Focusing on their lives as regular, young men growing up in Southern California, their music resonated with kids from all walks of life. From hipster to hood, there was something everyone could relate to in their sound. This universal appeal was the catalyst for their success and garnered them the real estate in numerous famed magazines, including Billboard, Rolling Stone, The Source, VIBE and XXL. It also gained the approval of hip-hop hotshots Ludacris, Pharrell Williams, Talib Kweli, 9th Wonder and more. Their continued success drew international attention as they opened for big names like Nas, Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes, Ice-T, Ludacris and N.E.R.D.

A few years following the release of Sealed for Freshness: The Blend Tape, the group dropped two more mixtapes, Church League Champions and Don’t Mention It. Church League Champions featured the now classic, “Mayor”, while Don’t Mention It contained the fan favorite, “Don’t Forget the Swishers,” featuring rapper Chip tha Ripper. In the Spring of 2011, the trio teamed up with Grand Hustle Management and released their fourth mixtape, Mania!, hosted by DJ Don Cannon, featuring the hit single, “Anti-freeze”. With over a million downloads, Mania! is their most successful mixtape to date.

In 2011, Pac Div left Motown Universal and released their debut album, The Div independently through their own label, The Div and RBC Records. With features from longtime friends, Blu Collar, Asher Roth, Casey Veggies and Skeme, the album was hailed as a huge success. Additionally, Pac Div appeared in their first nationally televised commercial for Phiten Athletics, featuring the group’s performance of their original song, Flexin, as well as appearances by NBA stars Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Eric Gordon and Derrick Williams. The group closed out the year, touring with Mac Miller on his BlueSlide Park Tour. As 2012 came to a close, Pac Div released their second album, G.M.B, on November 27, 2012 with features from Mac Miller and Kendrick Lamar and production from Scoop DeVille, Swiff D, DJ Dahi and the group’s own, Like. The group wrapped up the year touring Snoop Dogg and look forward to their upcoming Spring 2013 tour with Johnny Polygon.

Building Amazing Homes & Mobile Spaces Using Shipping Containers!

Views:1823921|Rating:4.84|View Time:6:32Minutes|Likes:19901|Dislikes:644
In this video we explore and learn how to use shipping containers as strong, durable and mobile building blocks to create amazing structures of all kinds, like a house, addition, office space, or cabin; and we feature a few stunning projects to get you inspired!

Anthony Ruggiero from Storstac Inc. ( showed us around their yard in Toronto, Ontario and took the time to teach us about the ins and outs of building with shipping containers. We’re excited to share the tips and information we learned with you.

Shipping containers come in standard 20 foot and 40 foot lengths, and there are other specialty custom sizes like the 10′, 45′, 48′, 53′ long containers.

Almost all shipping containers are made in China, and can be bought used (after they’ve been used for 10-20 years), or new, which means they’ve one been used once.

Since there are no shipping manifests for used containers to show what was transported in them over the course of their lifetime (it could be anything from clothes to nuclear waste), it’s better to build with a new shipping container that’s only been used once.

They’re made with COR-TEN steel, which is a weathering steel that can withstand harsh weather conditions and elements like salt water because the rust on weathering steel creates a protective patina to keep it strong, whereas rust on mild steel would actually weaken the metal.

While building with shipping containers is not necessarily cheaper than conventional building, it does have advantages because the containers are modular, movable and mobile, durable, and have a unique, modern look.

They can be do it yourself friendly if you’ve worked with steel before, or if you find a company to take care of the steel work for you so you can focus on how to frame it and finish it from the inside.

Let us know what you think of shipping containers as alternative building blocks in the comments!
