Four people were injured at an Albuquerque church on Sunday when a man leapt from the pews and stabbed choir members.

Police spokesman Robert Gibbs said Lawrence Capener, 24, climbed over several pews at the St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church and attacked several people in the choir area with a knife around noon on Sunday. One witness said the man, “was kind of twitchy [and] sketchy looking.” Another witness said the attacker was staring at the lead soloist in the choir before the attack.
