The event started on Thursday, 21 February and concluded on Saturday, 23 February with a youth concert. Pastors, church leaders and members from all over South Africa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia, Brazzaville, Zambia, Ghana, Kenya and America attended the conference that was primarily aimed at encouraging and equipping Christians to impact not only their immediate circle of influence but also their communities, cities and ultimately nations through sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The over 2000 delegates that attended daily, were treated to inspirational but practical messages by International speakers Ps. Cesar and Claudia Castellanos from Columbia, Ps. Rich Witmer from Yuma (Arizona), Dr. Steve Munsey from Munster (Indiana), Ps. Art Sepulveda from Hawaii, Bishop Isaiah Reed from Tulsa (Oklahoma) as well as Ps. Bert Pretorius and Ps. Ray McCauley from South Africa. Central to every message preached was the absolute necessity of loving people enough to empower them by getting involved in their lives, being a role model and example of hope.
On Friday evening Ps. Claudia Castellanos addressed the congregation in which she stated that it was time for Africa to enter into a new season of healing and comfort. Chief Justice, Judge Mogoeng Mogoeng addressed the delegates immediately after this and agreed that it was time for our country and continent to turn to God. He continued to verbalize his excitement because of what he was witnessing in the church and led the congregation in singing a prayer for revival.
A very special highlight to the event was the wedding of Ps. Pearson Pretorius from 3C Ministries, to Miss Blessing Machoga. The beautiful marriage ceremony took place during the conference’s lunch break on Saturday and was open for any conference delegates or members of 3C to attend.
Delegates commented that the Breath of life Conference made a lasting impression on them and that this conference was one of the best in the history of 3C Ministries. They were inspired, encouraged and filled with passion to play an active role in the awakening of Africa as it rises out of poverty, sickness and destruction into a new era of serving God and reaching out to the world.
