Jazz & Broadway legend, writer Luther Henderson, arranged this work for Canadian Brass showing off the melodic and technical possibilities of the trombone. Achilles has picked up the mantel putting new-found expression and excitement into this somewhat irreverent work. And look at the concert setting! This church, the Corpus Christi Cathedral in Corpus Christi, Texas, provided the perfect setting for Achilles’ musical drama!

Pastor Henderson was called to ministry in 1995 at the age of 14, just prior to his freshman year of high school. He attended Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne in his home state of Indiana, and distinguished himself as an athlete and campus leader. Winning awards such as the Doc Skelton leadership/sportsmanship award, Senior Athlete of the year, and most improved athlete of the year award. He pursued a career in education, earning a designation as one of the top 50 educators in Fort Wayne, IN.
