This beautiful mid-19th Century home commands an impressive site overlooking the waterfront battery and White Point Gardens in Charleston’s historic district. The main house itself remains a private home, but its rear carriage house has been turned into a quaint bed and breakfast, and this is where all of the supernatural events occur. The area surrounding the property has witnessed quite an interesting history, from events of the Civil War back to when pirates were hanged from nearby trees. This may be why the inn is such an active paranormal site.
In room 8, male guests are typically targeted by a rough looking sort of ghost who likes to startle and harass them, without being hostile. Chairs have been known to slam against walls in this room and his apparition is usually only seen from the torso up. Room 10 has an apparition of a slender man who has mostly appeared to women, with a mother and daughter capturing the sound of breathing and tapping on a camera left running overnight, along with a shadow that continuously passed in front of it. The last bit of activity occurs in room 3 where strange lights are observed and electrical devices seem to have a mind of their own – like blaring to life when turned off or unplugged.

6. Bachelor’s Grove Cemetery
This abandoned cemetery is located in Chicago and is well-known for being one of the most haunted places in the US. There have been numerous paranormal events that have taken place here including vanishing cars, spirit orbs, full bodied apparitions and more. During the prohibition area, gangsters would leave the remains of their victims at an adjacent lagoon which is supposed to be one of the reasons for it’s hauntedness. In the 1900’s people would report what’s known as a black dog which is a nocturnal apparition associated with the devil himself. It’s almost like there’s some kind of ghostly get together here, because pretty much any kind of ghost you can think of has been witness here in some way or another. In 2012, it was featured on an episode of ghost adventures so that’s how you know for sure this place is infested with ghostly spirits.
5. Cinco Saltos
A city in Rio Negro, Argentina or the Black River has a dark reputation among Argentians. It reportedly gets little to no sunlight which makes it perfect for witches to conduct their black magic. The residents of the town came across a gruesome discovery when they believed they found the body of someone who had been sacrificed to the devil. It was proven that the body of the 12 year old girl was buried nearly 70 years ago but remained well preserved. It was also mysteriously chained to the coffin. Not too long after the discovery, many people in this town reported seeing the ghost of the young girl floating around near the cemetery in this photo.
4. Pere Lachaise Cemetery
Although Pere Lachaise is one of the most famous and often visited cemeteries in the world, but it doesn’t mean the spirits want you to come here. The largest cemetery in Paris is also the most haunted and home to graves of notable figures like Jim Morrison, Moliere, Edith Piaf and Oscar Wilde. This tomb here was opened, making you wonder for what reason was someone disturbing a grave. Here you will experience a dark, eery vibe from all the vintage tombstone designs that seems to be caused from the spirits themselves. People have reported experiencing a sense of unease. Many photos have been taken here with tourists that seem to come back revealing orbs of light as well as ghostly appearances. What’s also creepy is Nicolas cage purchasing a pyramid shaped tomb to spend his final days at. Stop by for a few photos, if you dare.
3. Gettysburg Cemetery
Gettysburg was one of the hardest fought in all of the civil war and the casualties seem to be countless. Many believe believe that this battlefield is haunted by the ones who lost their lives here. There was so much energy that just seemed to be lost here that it almost seems that there’s no way for it not to be haunted. It’s believed that during the 3 day battle, there were 50,000 casualties. Buildings nearby have been featured on Ghost Hunters, Most Haunted and Ghost Adventures. Others claim to hear musket fire in the middles of the night and the eery smoke that seems to float over the battlefield cemetery. If there’s anywhere that’s haunted in the US, it’s this place.
2. Stull Cemetery
Located in the state of kansas is where you’d least to find one of the seven gateways of hell, but here it is apparently. Although it might sound like an urban legend, there’s supposedly a stairway near the ruins of a church that heads directly to the fiery underworld. An article was written by the University of Kansas explaining a wide variety of strange occurrences in the stull churchyard. One student who went there claimed to have been grabbed by the arm by an unseen force while others experienced strange memory loss that they couldn’t explain. Legends about the devil popping up around here date back to the 1850’s when the name of the town was actually spelled “skull” and not stull. In 1989, over 500 people visited the site and all were so overwhelmed with strange occurrences that the police were called in! In 1995, it reported that the pope refused to fly over kansas because he didn’t want to fly over unholy ground, refering to the cemetery. The church was torn down mysteriously and the landowner said he had no idea what happened to it. Mysterious but true.

A little almost fairytale-like holler that’s hidden in a major metropolitan area that was once a riverbed, the area is supposed to be haunted by the ghosts at the Mooney mansion, also story’s of the bridge being haunted by the ghost of a lost love who hung themselves from it because of a jilted relationship! The second part of the video takes is over the Calumet St. Bridge which is the bridge I was just mentioning that we go under on Walhalla. Enjoy! (music: “Alma” – Teddybears) via YouTube Capture
