For over 70 years prisoners were hung on the gallows at the old Gonzales, TX jail. Many visitors have witnessed strange and eerie things of the years. The Prison is considered to be one of the most haunted places in Texas! A visit to the Gonzales County Jail Museum gave us insight to the life of its former inmates and the death of those who had a date with the gallows.
In 1878 a rare and destructive cyclone hit downtown Augusta, Georgia. It crumbled many of the buildings and wiped out most of the railroad. When it hit the old market on Broad Street it was said to have “lifted it up and dropped it down in pieces.” Today, all that remains is one pillar from that market. It is at the intersection of 5th and Broad Street. It is said to be haunted too. In fact, before the cyclone hit in 1878, a traveling preacher was angered because he was not allowed to preach at the market. He then cursed the market and promised of a horrible wind. Well, the cyclone came and now it is said the pillar is haunted. If you touch it you will die. Well, not really. But Bill Kirby tries out this theory.

Okay, so you’ve all heard the Haunted Toledo Crew visited the mysterious “Bone House” on Newton Street this past Saturday.
As you know, Nbc24 reported that the owner discovered an amazing amount of animal bones hidden inside the walls and floors while renovating the building. Oddly enough, many of these bones had tool marks – they were cut or sawed before being placed inside the walls and floors.
After having made this gruesome discovery, the owner claims that he began experiencing supernatural phenomena while inside the house. Footsteps, whistling, banging noises, and strange photographs. Fearing that these bones, as well as the claims of haunting activity, were evidence of some kind of ritual activity inside the house, he reached out to Haunted Toledo to come in and take a look. And we did.
We still have some more media to evaluate, but we put together this short video to give you an idea of what went on that night.
We utilized a variety of different tactics to document any potential paranormal activity, including provocation. As I said, there’s still a bit more media to evaluate, but we wanted to give our fans a glimpse inside the Newton Street “Bone House”.
Inside St. Augustine, The Oldest Catholic Church in Nevada with the only surviving Kilgen organ. Did we see a ghost? See for yourself at:
With a glint in her eye and an infectious laugh, the lady at the Trading Post who stamped our Highway 50 booklets continued on with her story about the abandoned buildings in Austin, Nevada. The owner of the Main Street Shops who had to sell because of her son’s illness also owned the St. Augustine’s Catholic Church. She had deeded the church to the St. Augustine’s Cultural Center for them to renovate and restore for its use. The shopkeeper told us that it was abandoned for now and that we should go take a look.
Typical of many old mining towns, the building was situated on a steep hill so Sar decided to stay in the car and take a nap. Lex and I huffed and puffed our way up the road to see an imposing red brick church with a beautiful tall white steeple. The roof was at quite an angle and made an acute V-shape against the blue sky. The brick walls are 20 inches (50.8 cm) thick. To pay for the angular roof, tickets were sold for the midnight Christmas Eve mass in 1866. Enough tickets were purchased to finish the building in the same year.
St. Augustine Catholic Church is the oldest Catholic Church in Nevada and served the numerous mining communities in Utah as well as Nevada. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We looked around the property and saw evidence of the renovation going on. I began to peek inside one of the large windows when I saw a figure in the corner of my eye. I froze with my fingers locked tightly around the camera! Was that a ghost? A burglar?

Tonight the team travel a short distance to a very tiny 19th century cemetery. During the afternoon Kyle and Jason visited tonights location to make sure the place would we worthy of a paranormal investigation.
From the moment we arrived we felt that this place would be perfect as we were looking to do something different for our fans. This cemetery has graves which date back to the early 1800’s, and some of the graves here belonged to very interesting people indeed.

News22’s Zach Rael hunted down the ghosts of the Double Eagle Restaurant in Old Mesilla.
Location, Kingman AZ. I get weird feelings everytime I go near these railroad tracks. Under this one bridge, I could feel presences of entities. I didn’t want to stay long. The whole area also full of ants and other insects, snakes, and sometimes dangerous transients pass by. News reports in the past have stated that people have committed suicide by laying themselves down on the train tracks in the area. Some have claimed that Kingman is one of the most paranormal places on earth.
