This video shows the grave and tombstone of Alexander Hamilton, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States and the man generally credited with setting up the US financial system. He is one of two non-presidents whose face appears on US paper currency (the $10 bill). His wife Eliza also rests within a few feet. Hamilton was killed in a duel with sitting Vice-President Aaron Burr in 1804. He was 47 years old at the time of his death.

John Denver Talking from Beyond the Grave – Celebrity Spirit Box – WAGNER ITC

Name: John Denver
(December 31, 1943 – October 12, 1997)

Though he composed and sang some of the most peaceful and beautiful songs of his generation, John Denver fought demons and an addiction to alcohol.
Denver was not legally permitted to fly at the time of the accident.
Denver’s life ended suddenly when the plane he was flying, an experimental Rutan Long-EX, crashed into Monterey Bay near Pacific Grove, Calif.
Post-accident investigation by the NTSB showed that the leading cause of the accident was Denver’s inability to switch fuel tanks during flight.
John Denver was not born in Colorado or West Virginia. Denver was actually born in Roswell, N.M. as Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. (December 31, 1943 – October 12, 1997)
His divorce from Annie Denver Anne Martell was a bitter battle: The woman who inspired “Annie’s Song,” which was written on a ski lift in 10 minutes, battled John over the division of property during their 1982 divorce proceedings. John Denver became so enraged with his estranged wife that he tried to choke her. He then took a chainsaw to their marital bed and sawed it in half.
He married again and lived in Aspen continuously until his death.
Funeral services were held at Faith Presbyterian Church in Aurora, Colorado, on October 17, 1997, officiated by Pastor Les Felker, a retired Air Force chaplain, following which Denver’s remains were cremated and his ashes were scattered in the Rocky Mountains.

“Death is not an ending, but a symbol of movement along the path upon which we are all traveling. As it may be painful to lose contact with the physical aspect of one we love, the Spirit can never be lost. We have been and always will be a part of each other.”
— John Denver

Tallahassee Witch Grave – Old City Cemetery, Florida

Views:447|Rating:5.00|View Time:4:7Minutes|Likes:8|Dislikes:0

This is the oldest cemetery in Tallahassee, Florida called the Old City Cemetery and we are gonna see the “witch grave”. Elizabeth Budd-Graham who was just 23-year-old when died was buried under this elaborate 12 feet tall obelisk which was made of 15 tons of French granite.

Soon after her death, rumors spread that she had witch crafted her husband to marry her and was hated by people around her. It was believed that she was slow poisoned by a close relative and she had a long, painful death which is why her soul has not rested in peace all these years. This may also be true if you look at the epitaph engraved by her husband is originally from a poem called Lenore written by Edgar Allen Poe when his wife passed away at the age of 24 and Poe’s wife herself was a witch.

There are lot of ghost stories around this place and we can still see people performing ceremonies at her grave on new moon & full moon nights. You can also see a lot of shells put in to this granite vase as offerings and even coins are offered. Apart from the fellow “witches” there are also many curious visitors like me visit the grave to pay homage and observe the gifts offered for “the doubly dead” (witches must be killed twice). Welcome to Famous Grave Tours. Thanks for joining me as I visit the cemeteries, graves, memorials and final resting places of the famous people who have touched our lives. From movie stars to world leaders, from those whose died before their time, to those who lived to be centenarians–they may be gone, but they’re not forgotten.

Today, I’m taking a tour of the Greenwood Memorial Park and Mausoleums, in San Diego, California, where I’ll share with you such stars as Wizard of Oz Munchkins Johnny and Marie J. Maroldo, silent actor and uncredited Keystone Kop, Walter E. Bystrom, Entrepreneur Sol Price and others. Plus, I’ll visit the memorials to the American Legion, Canada Legion, and the San Diego Fire Department.

Since this cemetery is having a special Father’s Day event, I’d like to wish all fathers, buried and interred here, a happy Fathers Day!

Here is a list of the famous people, buried or interred in the cemetery grounds or one of the Mausoleums, that I was not able to find or visit on my cemetery tour today: Victor Buono, Cory David Rand, and Harold Bell Wright.

FAMOUS GRAVE TOUR

I finally found the grave site of actress, singer, dancer and comedian Betty Hutton in Desert Memorial Park, in Cathedral City, California, which is located in the greater Palm Springs desert area.

Hutton is buried in the same section as singer Sonny Bono, 1930s leading lady Marian Marsh, TV cowboy Chris Alcaide and TV theme song composer Earle Hagen.

In a way, it was like visiting old friends, but I feel like I got to know each of them just a little bit better, by visiting their final resting places. They may be gone, but they’re not forgotten.

If you decide to visit them in person, below is the cemetery address and contact information:

Singing an orginal song about Jack Daniel next to his grave

Views:340|Rating:5.00|View Time:1:51Minutes|Likes:4|Dislikes:0
Well my home is in Alabama
but my mind is in Tennessee
With that old black label, that spring and his hat
Jack Daniel was a hell of a man

Maybe short in stature but he stood tall
All the women thought he had it all
When ever he made whiskey he did the best that he can
Cause Jack Daniel was a hell of a man

Had a Silver Cornet Band and a White Rabbit Saloon
He never made his whiskey by the light of the moon
He kept on keepin’ on for as long as he could stand
Cause Jack Daniel was a hell of a man

He did it good. He did it best.
Don’t you know that man was sharply dressed.

Over in Lynchburg, they still honor him.
And they make like he did way on back then.
It’ll taste the same no matter where you are at
Cause Jack Daniel was a hell of a man.

My Facebook music page:

*I do realize I say Jack Daniel’s for the most part. That is an obvious mistake but when you’re in Lyncburg for a few days and it’s plastered everywhere with the ” ‘s” it’s hard to refer to him as Jack Daniel. If I record it I’ll refer to him correctly.
