Architectural Design Houston. With Pete Ed Garrett as the Partner-in-Charge and Project Designer, Studio RED designed three new buildings for the church’s campus. In alignment with the church’s goal of making the campus a more desirable place for young families and friends to spend their time, there are several spaces within the buildings targeted to young people.

This facility also included the design of a student sports ministry which included sand volleyball courts.

A 75,000 sf Children’s Building which includes an indoor playground with controlled check-in and state-of-the-art security.
A 52,000 sf Student Education Building, with the addition of “The Den,” a cafe-style congregation area equipped with the latest technology.
A 31,000 sf Adult Education Building that houses many classrooms, a library and ministry-oriented kiosks.
Renovation of the existing 200,000 sf Educational and Family Life Center spaces.

Updates from Ethiopia 2017 – Church Forest Conservation

Views:793|Rating:5.00|View Time:14:27Minutes|Likes:10|Dislikes:0
This film was produced by our awesome partner, Untamed Science, with Haley Nelson Chamberlain as film maker. During May 2017, our expedition had multiple goals –
1. to meet with the Arch Bishop of the Coptic church,
2. to host a workshop for priest leadership about the value of their church forests,
3. to distribute a new children’s book (called Beza) that explains the importance of church forests to children in to rural schools,
4. to meet and assist the women’s monastery to develop a sustainable income, and
5. to celebrate 4 new church forest walls. Whew — a busy trip!!!

This film summarizes our adventures and successes!

For the full trail guide please visit:

The first trail marker you encounter heading south on Forest Road 13 bears an icon of a mountain goat – appropriate, as you are about to go for a climb! The northern half of this trail is steep and rocky as you head toward Cedro Peak and an elevation of 7500 feet. Midway through, dense pinon and cedar forest will briefly give way to beautiful long range views of the Manzano Mountains to the south and the towers atop Cedro Peak to the west.

Whether you enjoy wheeling overland, in snow, mud or rock, FR13 will have a little bit of each depending on the season. The area boasts more than 300 days of sunshine annually so there is ample opportunity to get out and enjoy this trail and others in the Manzanita Mountains Trail System.

Austin Nevada – Part 2 “The Way It Was Grand Tour”

Views:2735|Rating:4.63|View Time:57:45Minutes|Likes:25|Dislikes:2
It all started in 1862 when a pony express ride by the name of W.H. Talcott’s horse kicked up a rock at the mouth of pony canyon which turned out to be high grade silver and gold ore. This led to a silver rush by the time the mid 1860s rolled around this town boasted a lumber mill, saloons, brothels, assay office, banks, hospital, hotels, telegraph station, four hundred houses and at least 10k residents. Although floods, fires and elements have erased a large portion of this living ghost town what does remain are some of the finest structures in the wild west such as its frontier churches. Austin held the Lander County seat for many decades it also brought millions of dollars in silver revenue and for a short time hosted the Nevada Central Railroad. This was a town that boasted the good, bad and the ugly everything from epidemics to axe yielding men and frontier justice. Austin not only has one of the oldest saloons/hotels in the state but one of the last Greek revival court houses in the nation and one of the oldest operating Nevadan newspapers that still exist today. Today life has slowed down in Austin to about 200 residents. Many shops thrive on tourism and the sale of there jewelry. Life in this canyon dates back to 3,500 years ago when the Shoshone used Pony Canyon to hunt and sustain themselves. We welcome you to journey with us as I take our friends and viewers to the way it was!

Steven Seagal Parody

Views:12942|Rating:4.18|View Time:4:42Minutes|Likes:102|Dislikes:20
An amateur parody of Steven Seagal’s acting… Well, it is also a tribute, because I like him a lot. This video was made in two three hour sessions, in the forest behind our lovely town of Trenčín. The language spoken in video is Slovak. It was fun.

The title of the video means : Deadly Death 3: Revenge of Death

The soundtrack is made by BT & Nick Phoenix. I do not own any of the music.

Sorry for the low quality, it was shot in evening with light not so good.
