32 South Battery dominates the row of mansions known world-wide simply as The Battery. The Colonel John Ashe House, built around 1782 has been meticulously restored in every detail from the brick flooring in the basement to the gold sphere on top of the cupola. This beautiful four story Charleston double house is located across from White Point Gardens with exceptional 360 degree views over rooftops, to Charleston Harbor, the Sullivans Island Lighthouse and Ft. Sumter from three piazzas and the cupola. The formal dining room illuminated by a series of wall sconces and Waterford crystal chandeliers can comfortably accommodate twenty-four for sit down dinners. The home’s graceful staircase ascends three floors allowing access to the spacious, luxurious master suite boasting two baths, large sitting room and walk-in closet; a library/den with custom cabinetry for books and collectables; guest wings and nursery wing complete with back stairs down to kitchen. Other amenities include heart pine flooring, exceptional woodwork, ornate dentil ceiling cornice, decorative mantles & wainscoting, six working fireplaces and gourmet kitchen with heartpine cabinetry, center island/breakfast bar & imported tiles. Of significant mention are the rare overmantel paintings, one an 18th century Italian landscape believed to be attributed to Giovanni Panini (1691-1765). The carriage house is a separate two story, 2BR/2BA 2092 sq. ft. brick house which has been fully restored. An electronic side gate provides added security. Enormous, beautifully landscaped private backyard with bricked courtyard provides the perfect outdoor entertaining and play area. The cupola is said to have served as an early lighthouse for Col. Ashe’s ship captains bringing goods into the thriving colonial port of Charleston. With its wooden pegs in the original framing, Black Cypress exterior and rope-like detail in the paneling, the home is a tribute to the shipping industry. This home provides a unique opportunity to purchase a rare piece of America’s earliest history.

HomeCity Real Estate | Neighborhood Series: East Austin, TX | Austin Relocation

Views:5949|Rating:4.40|View Time:2:32Minutes|Likes:22|Dislikes:3
East Austin started as working-class neighborhood, but through Austin’s massive growth spurt it’s proximity to downtown and eclectic attitude have made it one of the more sought after areas in town. The neighborhood just east of Interstate 35 downtown has become home to the cities fashionable arts district with restaurants, studios, galleries, bars and music venues popping up everywhere. Amongst these you’ll find traditional taquerias, barbeque joints, party supply stores, and churches that are reminiscent of old East Austin. Newly constructed condos, remodeled homes or completely rebuilt homes brush up against much older, smaller houses still owned by their original owners. It is an eclectic (synonym) neighborhood, and the people who live there love it dearly.

East Austin’s entertainment scene is young, hip, and full of life. Many music venues, cocktail bars, and hip dive bars have sprung up within the last few years, and it’s become a popular place for locals and visitors alike.

There are tons of art galleries open to visit in East Austin, including Blue Genie Art Industries on Springdale Road, BiRDHOUSE Gallery on Cesar Chavez, UP Collective Artist Studios and Gallery, and SPRAtx Street Art Collective. The hip, young atmosphere of the East Side makes for some of the most eclectic choices in art, crossing several mediums. There are also a wide variety of boutiques and vintage shops in the area including Maga La Boheme on East 6th, Solid Gold Boutique on East 5th, and Charm School Vintage and Mana Culture on East 11th Street. Most boutiques cater to the bohemian, vintage lovers style that is so in fashion right now.

Walking down east 6th street, one will pass graffiti-style murals, flashing LED signs, and food trailer parks. There are so many entertainment options to choose from depending on your mood. If you want to experience some fine dining in a bistro atmosphere, check out places like Mettle on East 7th, Blue Dahlia Bistro on East 11th, Eastside Café on Manor Road, or Justine’s Brasserie on Cesar Chavez. These places are known for their delicious menu options, locally sourced ingredients, and hip crowds. Yummy eastside favorites that are a bit more laid back include Gourmands Pub near East 7th, Eastside Kings food trailer, Yellow Jacket Social Club on East 5th, and Counter Culture Café. The east side is also home to some of the best Mexican and Tex-Mex food in Austin, with the famed Juan in a Million, Joe’s Bakery and Mexican Food, and Las Cazuelas Mexican Restaurant all calling East Cesar Chavez home.

There are several places in East Austin one can go to hear good live music almost any day of the week. One of which is the White Horse, which offers a traditional honky-tonk style setting and two stepping nights a couple times a week. Another favorite is the Gypsy Lounge, with live music every night and an eclectic mix of artists on the roster. The King Bee Lounge, East Side Show Room, Stay Gold, and Sahara Lounge are also East Side favorites with consistently great live music. For a crafty, upscale experience cocktail bars like Weather Up, Zilker Brewing Company, and Whistler’s will have you feeling fancy in a laid back atmosphere.

While East Austin isn’t as known for it’s outdoor activities as it’s South and Central cousins, there are still plenty of amazing outdoor activities within a stones throw of the East Side. Since the Colorado River runs through much of the area, there are several access points in the East. One of the best of these is the Roy G. Guerrero Colorado River Park, which is basically a giant dog-friendly park with water access and even a little beach. There are also disk golf courses, a golf course, and open fields to play in throughout the park. There are hike and bike trails, playgrounds, and tons of places to exercise here as well.

Just a hop, skip, and a jump from the city you can find McKinney Falls State Park, which is located on the South East side on McKinney Falls Parkway. There is a small fee to enter, but it’s worth it for it’s hiking trails and beautiful swimming pool… complete with water fall! There are camping areas (and cabins) for those that are coming in from out of town, or just feel like getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a night.

Lady Bird Lakes hike and bike trail also continues onto the East Side now, offering hike and bike options, lots of boardwalk, and stunning views of downtown Austin.

► ABOUT ROGERS HEALY
Rogers Healy was born to build, market and sell. Rogers was born in Corpus Christi, moved to San Antonio as a child, and then made his final Texas stop in Dallas in the early 1990’s. From day one, he’s always looked for opportunities to network, learn and work harder than anyone.

Rogers’ real estate career launched back in 2001, while an undergrad at Southern Methodist University. A self described opportunist, Rogers saw the need for fellow students to get assistance when looking for off campus housing.

“I’ve never had a problem doing the work others didn’t want to do. Everyone needs a place to live, so I found a way to help my fiends at SMU, whether they were renting their first apartment, or buying their first condo.”

After a few years of learning the business of real estate, Rogers launched Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate in 2006. Determination and energy proved to be the perfect ingredients for getting RHA launched, and even still, that’s the approach.

In 2008, Rogers founded Healy Property Management, which has grown to one of the most successful property management firms in Texas. In 2009, Rogers founded Healy Global Relocation, which is the only company in the world that helps clients with all their real estate and moving needs, all over the world.

“I’ve been blessed to have found success in business, especially in the world of real estate. That’s always rewarding, but one of the truest joys I experience is with my people. Seeing them grow, watching them learn and being a part of their lives gives me a sense of impact and a full heart. No deal will ever replace that.”

Rogers Healy and Associates is a multi-time winner of the ‘INC 5000’ fastest growing companies in the US, ’The Best Places to Work in Dallas,’ by both the Dallas Morning News and the Dallas Business Journal, the ‘SMU 100 Fastest Growing Businesses’ award, and the ‘100 Fastest Growing Companies in Fort Worth,’ by Fort Worth Magazine.

During Rogers’ tenure in business, he’s been the recipient of many notable awards, including REALTOR Magazine’s ’30 Under 30,’ The Dallas Morning News Executioner of the Year, The Dallas Millennial Club’s ‘Entrepreneur of the Year,’ The Dallas Business Journal’s ’40 Under 40,’ the Collin County Business Press’ ’40 Under 40,’ The Park Cities People’s ’20 Under 40,’ The ‘Most Influential Leader in Real Estate,’ by Luxury Home Magazine, ‘Power Player’ by Dallas Modern Luxury, D Magazine ‘Top Producer’ and ‘Best REALTOR.’ In 2018, Rogers was recognized as one of the Top 100 REALTORS in the country (out of over 2,000,000 people). With over $4,000,000,000 in closed deals and counting, Rogers aims to always be at the top of the list.

Rogers is the real estate expert on national TV for Fox, Fox News, Fox Business News, CNBC and MSNBC.

In his free time, Rogers loves spending time with his family, his three dogs (Black Lab-Batman, Weimaraner-Coach, and Amigo, his German Shorthair), his church at Highland Park Methodist, Crossfit and listening to vinyls on his record player.

MAINE REAL ESTATE | Owner Financed 58 acres of Land For Sale in Exeter

Views:86|Rating:5.00|View Time:2:52Minutes|Likes:3|Dislikes:0
Visit our website for more info:
Check out the interactive map for this property:

58 +/- acres of forested timberland located on Call Rd in Exeter Maine. Looking for an owner financed property this should be on your list to see. The property has about 2,200 +/- feet of frontage on the Call Road. The forest consists of a mixed softwood and hardwood forest that was thinned in 2018. A well-spaced stand of timber remains. There are some areas of pine plantation with the majority natural forest.

NRCS soil data shows the area to be mostly silty and stony loam with uses from forestry, wildlife, limited grazing to more intense farming. The land is a rolling lot with elevations from about 350 to 450 feet. Several intermittent spring creeks traverse the parcel and eventually form a larger brook off the land.

Uses for the property would include timber production, self sufficient homesteading, farming, recreation such as hunting and trail riding. A level spot near the center of the property is situated near one of the creeks and would be a nice place to build a home or vacation cabin. Exeter is a rural town primarily of small farms, timberland, and country homes. Most residents commute to work in the areas surrounding Bangor, Maine which is about a 20-minute drive from the property. The 2010 census reported just under 1,100 residents.

There is much to do in the region surrounding Exeter. All of our modern convenience like shopping, restaurants, entertainment and a multitude of cultural events can be found in Bangor, northern Maine’s largest city. The city is only 14 +/- miles or about a 20 minute drive from the Call Road property. If you are looking for a more holistic experience you need just venture about an hour drive to the 100 mile woods of the Appalachian Trail. A half hour you can be launching your boat on Sebec Lake. A little more than an hour and it could be Moosehead Lake.

Detailed information

Here’s another great nine plex that isn’t listed anywhere in the public domain ready for sale.

The owner is retiring and is liquidating their portfolio and have started with this gem. This property is a legal nine plex with a huge lot and amazing break down of the costs. The cap rate based on purchase price is 6.5% which is better than anything I’ve seen over the past year. Last property that I sold close to this cap rate was in Acton which fetched 6.9% for a small 6 plex conversion similar to this building.

I have a lot of details included in the video so be sure to post any comment or questions in the section below or reach out to me via filling out the form.
