TV stations in Oklahoma City broke into regularly scheduled programming on the night of May 8th, 1986 as a severe storm with vertical rotation approached the metro area. Gary England shows the first video they received of the tornado shot by Rich Kriegel. Randy Renner, Sheila Hyland and Alicia Malaby interview area residents. Roger Cooper and Patti Suarez anchor the broadcast, which occurred at approximately 8:35pm, some 80 minutes after the tornado struck.
