Announcements and Reminders

We are pleased to have Rev. David Tuttle with us this morning for a presentation of Resting Arms Ministry. We look forward to hearing more of this needed and important ministry to Aroostook County and to Maine.

This morning during the service we will be dedicating the OCC children’s shoeboxes. A BIG thank you to Jennifer Sylvester, Emily Reece, Donna McGillicuddy, Rachel Good and all her helpers – those who bought items, packed shoeboxes, did their own shoeboxes or gave donations. Thank you to everyone who participated to make it a success!!
Jennifer and Torrey will be taking the shoeboxes to the local distribution center this week. Thank you again, everyone!

There is a COMBINED EVENING SERVICE TONIGHT at Hodgdon United Baptist Church (846 Calais Road). There will be refreshments served following the service. Those attending from FBC are encouraged to bring a dessert. The service begins at 6:00 PM.

There will be NO Wednesday Evening Bible Study this week. However, there will be a Wednesday Morning Bible Study.

* THANKSGIVING IS ALMOST HERE! Houlton’s Thanksgiving Community Service will be held on Tuesday, November 24th at St. Mary’s Church at 7:00 PM. (Pastor Dennis will be singing a solo at the service). Please bring a canned food item for the food pantry. Let us come together as a Christian community with grateful hearts to the Lord for His many blessings to us and may we in turn help those in need.

Thanksgiving Sunday (Nov. 22 – next Sunday), we will be welcoming into membership several new members. If you have been considering becoming a member and would like to join these that are being welcomed in next Sunday, please contact Pastor Dennis.
