At The Row, or the “Church Without Walls,” members congregate on the corner of Wall St. and Winston St. in the middle of DTLA’s Skid Row every Friday night. Though church members prepare and serve meals after the weekly worship service, it is a church. Some congregants live on the street, others in the SRO apartments scattered throughout downtown and others commute from Orange County to attend the weekly Friday night services and worship together.

Pastor Cue Jn-Marie started the independent congregation in August 2006. He is an alumni of the USC Cecil Murray Center for Community Engagement and is using the training he received to build a structurally sound organization and to engage with city leaders about the future of the Skid Row neighborhood. “I learned civic engagement from the Cecil Murray Center. I have also been coached by Rev. Frank Jackson on setting up everything from a 501c3 to organizing a board,” he says.

The Row holds Bible Study indoors on Tuesday nights and is thinking about renting a permanent space to host education/training programs, but the church has no plans of leaving the corner of Wall and Winston on Friday nights.

Blessed By The International Bible Baptist Church Of Riverside Choir – November 18, 2018. With half our choir members unavailable, the IBBC-Riverside Choir gave this great performance of glorifying God through music. The major credit goes to God for giving us such musical talent in our fellowship. Then it is because God has blessed IBBC-Riverside with a very talented and dedicated Music Director in Paulo Nolasco, on piano in this video. And then God has blessed us with an amazing group of choir members who are always willing to go that extra mile to help make our fellowship one that truly glorifies God through our music ministry. Since this is only half our choir members last Sunday, just imagine how great it sounds when all are present.

The only thing that could make our Sunday Worship Services more blessed – is to have YOU and YOUR FAMILY join us for worship and fellowship.

American Eagle – Amazing Natural Bald Eagle Sounds
A bald eagle is an exciting, rare sighting for most Americans! But on this Alaskan island, our national symbol is as common as a beachside seagull. You can find them everywhere!!!lurking above the post office, inspecting the trash, waiting patiently for the local fishing boats to return with the day’s catch, even hanging out in front of the town church. In Unalaska, Alaska, everyone has an eagle story!!

This video Pastor Matt Chandler Bible Study in Church 2016 – Mark Dever, Matt Chandler, Kevin DeYoung

Chandler was born in Seattle, Washington. His father was in the military, causing him to move multiple times. They lived in Olympia, Washington; Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan; Alameda, California and Galveston, Texas. In Texas, the 6′ 5″ Chandler was a member of the high school football team. He oftens refers to the fact that Jeff Faircloth, a football teammate, was quick to share the good news of Jesus with him in a way that intrigued Chandler. Over the course of two years, Chandler attended church gatherings, opposed the beliefs, raised questions and doubts against Christianity and eventually submitted his life to the Lordship of Christ.[3]
Following high school, Chandler acquired his first job, as a janitor at Pine Drive Christian School in Dickinson, Texas. Chandler first spoke in front of a crowd when he was asked to share his testimony at a high school chapel. He was then offered a job as a youth minister at a small Baptist church in La Marque, Texas at the age of 18. Chandler moved to Abilene, Texas where he attended Hardin-Simmons University. While there, Chandler began leading the weekly Grace Bible Study at the Paramount Theater, which grew from a couple of hundred attendees to a couple of thousand. Chandler earned a Bible degree from Hardin-Simmons University. In 1996, Chandler was hired by Beltway Park Baptist Church under pastor David McQueen. In 1999, Chandler started a non-profit called Waiting Room Ministries with close friend Shane Barnard. Chandler twice started seminary classes but dropped out both times because he felt that he had acquired the tools he was learning from seminary back in bible school. He married his wife, Lauren, on July 31, 1999, and they have three children: Audrey, Reid and Norah.
A woman on the board of his non-profit organization asked Chandler to put in a résumé at Highland Village First Baptist Church. Chandler claims he did not expect to get the job due to conflicts in beliefs. Despite this, he was offered the job, and in 2002 he accepted the position. The church at that point had an attendance of 160 people. Now known as The Village Church, it has since grown to over 14,000 attendees. Chandler says his character was partially shaped by John Piper
On Thanksgiving morning in 2009, Chandler had a seizure at his home[10] and was later diagnosed with anaplastic oligodendroglioma, a malignant brain tumor. Chandler commented in June 2010 that he believed that God healed his cancer. He received treatment at Baylor University Medical Center and was given a clean bill of health in September 2010.
In March 2012, Chandler was named president of Acts 29 Network, succeeding Mark Driscoll, who had helped found the network of church planters. Acts 29 Network is a partnership of church plants that has grown to over 400 churches in the United States and around the world.
