This fire was at an abandoned church in Fort Worth at 3503 Avenue I, a few blocks south of Texas Wesleyan University, about 7:15 p.m. August 2nd. In addition to offering support and a birds eye view for the firemen on scene, I was able to get some pretty amazing footage. Clips from this footage was used on all four local 10 o’clock news channels. Side note for all the armature UAS videographers out there: always get permission first before flying around fires!

  1. Great footage. Just curious, were you able to give the live feed to command? That's a great help, especially in the case of an unmanned aerial stream. Thanks for posting and asking for permission.
