On Nov. 15, 2017, First Grace United Methodist Church in New Orleans announced that it was granting sanctuary to Jose Torres, the father of two small daughters who is at risk of being deported out of the United States.

  1. The same old rhetoric and propaganda of trying to blur the lines between illegal aliens and legal immigrants. Enforcing our immigration laws has nothing to do with race and everything to do with control of our own borders. Illegal aliens have no right to be in America and should be afraid of deportation. Americans are sick of these leeches and their sob stories. Enough is enough. These illegal aliens cost the American taxpayer over $135 billion annually.

    Churches breaking federal law should have their tax exemption removed and the individuals involved should be charged with aiding and abetting and/or harboring an illegal alien.

    The American dream is for Americans. Enter the country legally and share in that dream. Enter illegally and suffer the consequences. Deport all illegal aliens. Legal immigrants welcome.
