Were Early Christians Trinitarians?

Is the Trinity really an ancient pagan belief?

Is Jesus God?

Did Jesus ever claim to be God?

  1. "Jesus" is fictitious
    There is no "Jesus"

As long as Al-Masseeh Eessa ibnu Maryam was alive (for 33 years) he was Al-Masseeh Eessa ibnu Maryam, a Prophet and Messenger of Allah. This name was given to him by Allah.

Quraan 3:45. (Remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word from Him, his NAME will be AL-MASEEH EESSA IBNU MARYAM, held in honor in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are brought to a vicinity of Allah."

Nobody dared to call him a different name (such as Jesus). Nobody dared to give him a different title (such as God or the son of God).

The fictitious character called Jesus came into existence only after Al-Masseeh Eessa ibnu Maryam, a Prophet and Messenger of Allah, was raised to the third heaven by Allah.

The divine message which Allah revealed to Al-Masseeh Eessa ibnu Maryam under the name Al-Injeel was corrupted to accommodate new concepts (such as the Father and the Son). The result is a fake character named Jesus and a few Gospels under the name New Testament.

  2. Muhammad a brief history.

Muhammad was born in Mecca in the year 570 his father had reportedly passed away before his birth, his biological mother Amina he also lost at the age of six to illness and was then raised by his paternal grandfather Abd al-Muttalib until he died when Muhammad was eight. He then came under the care of an uncle Abu Talib a tribal leader.

Muhammad married Khadijah an older wealthy widow in 595, his rise to power as history records is as follows in the year 610 he reports first revelations supposedly with the Angel Gabriel at age of 40. The year 619 his protector uncle dies and in 622 he emigrates from Mecca to Medina, namely he and his band of followers were forcibly driven from Mecca by the Meccan’s.

In the following years from 623 Muhammad conducted as many as seven unsuccessful raids against Meccan caravans before finally finding one that during the raid the driver was murdered and the caravan contents were plundered. This particular caravan was especially vulnerable because the attack came during the holy months, the merchants were least expecting it due to the generally agreed upon rule that the tribes of the area would not attack each other during that time.

Muhammad's band of raiders had some of their group shave their head which caused the caravan drivers to look on them as being pilgrims rather than raiders, which instilled a false sense of security in the drivers. However, Islam was a different sort of religion from what the Meccans were used to, no honour amongst thieves. Muhammad on being confronted on his deception and possibly losing face went into his hut and emerged with a convenient and timely revelation "from Allah" that provided retroactive permission for the raid and, of course sanctioned the stolen possessions for his own use.

The battle of Badr in the Hejaz region of western Arabia 624 resulted in a victory over his opponents among the Quraish in Mecca. The same year Muhammad succeeded in driving the Qaynuqa Jews who refused to accept him as a prophet or follow his new Islamic religion from Medina. 624 also saw the assassination of Abu Afaka a Jewish poet who lived in the Hijaz region of Saudi Arabia. Abu Afak would not convert to Islam and was vocal about his opposition to Muhammad and became a significant political enemy of Muhammad which cost him his head.

Following Abu Afak was the assassination of Asma bint Marwan 'Asmā' the daughter of Marwān a female member of the Umayyad clan who lived in Medina in 7th century her family viewed Muhammad and his followers as unwelcome interlopers in Medina and were outspoken in their opposition of him and his followers her demise was followed by that of Ka'b al-Ashraf. Ka'b al-Ashraf was a Jew who hated Muhammad. Ka'b al-Ashraf never lifted a weapon against Muhammad or any Muslim, he only voiced his opinion against Muhammad, and made up some unsavoury poems about Muslim and their women. Muhammad saw him as a threat, and therefore had him murdered in the night.

The Battle of Uhud 625 was the second military encounter between the Meccans and the Muslims military. Muhammad lost the day and very nearly lost his life, he was struck down by a shower of stones and wounded in the face by two arrows, and one of his front teeth was broken. Of the Muslims, seventy men were killed, among whom was the Prophet's uncle Hamza. 625 also saw the demise of the Banu Nadir a tribe Jews tribe from the oasis of Madinah northern Arabia at Muslim hands.

The battle of the Trench 627 an early Muslim victory that ultimately forced the Meccans to recognize the political and religious strength of the Muslim community in Medina. This year also saw the atrocity against the last remaining major tribe of Jews in Medina, the Qurayza. Muhammad personally indulged with his barbarian band in the beheading of more than 600 men and the pubescent boys then enslaved the women and children. In doing this, he wiped an entire tribe of people off the map.

The Treaty of Hudaibiya March 628 was an important event that took place during the formation of Islam. It was a pivotal treaty between Muhammad, representing the state of Medina, and the Qureyshi tribe of Mecca. This year also saw the destruction and subjugation of the Khaybar Jews. In

629 saw an unsuccessful expedition against Christian Byzantine into the territory at Mutah, in today's Jordan. In 630 Muhammad conquers Mecca by surprise along with other local tribes.

631 Muhammad continued his raids for two years, while the Meccans prepared for an all out attack on the Romans at Tabuk, a city between Medina and Damascus, nothing was to come of this expedition. Muhammad had also planned to send his army into Roman territory in Palestine, but the plan was never realized.

632 The Barbarian died in suspicious circumstances.

  3. one of the comments below stated Muhammad is without miracle, actually he is naive of such informations. All the prophet had miracles for muhammad he is the seal of the prophet. His biggest miracle is the Quraan a superb narrative of the actual authentic words of God.
Muhammad had a pitiful early upbringing poor and left as orphan when he was small. When he was small he was purified by operation by the angels who purified his heart by cleaning zam zam water. When he was about to be killed in his house by Abu Jahal by reciting the surah yassin he was invincible by the enemy. At one time he was challenged by the disbeliever as to show his miracle and by virtue of Allah mohammed was able to split the moon and on Nasa finding there are proof to show these incidents just imagine if you cut the lemon and replaced back there must be aline around the circumference.

In the war of Khandak or trenches they were to dig trenches along the entrance of Medinah and there is a big stones which is difficult to be crunch and muhammed just prayed to Allah and there are water flowing through his fingers and they just collect the water and rinsed it to the rock and they were able to crunch the big rocks.
His sweat is sweet and like musk and his disciple used to collect his sweat while he is sleeping.
Another miracle is his ascension to the sidratul munthaha with the transport of Burak and Muhamad ascension was a miracle and he had met the almighty as closed as two arrows distanced.

While giving sermon he was able to see the enemy attacking the muslim from behind and he shouted and the muslim forces heard his voices. He was absent from the war far from the actual place.
He had predicted the fall of Roman by persian. His words became reality as miracles, this is the fall of Constantinople after 800years the turks were able to defeat the christian roman in Constatinople.

As he was about to ascends with Jibrail one of the stone was floating in the mosque next to The Dome of the rock and it rtemained there until now but they had supported it with pillars in order to protect idol worshipped.

The ascension of Muhammad is an acknowledgement of the last prophet hood and islam had been perfected for allmankind not only for the Arabs it is for the whole of humanity. It is very different from the jews, jewish people considered that they are the chosen ones and jews are jews. The biggest Miracle that muhammad had is the Quraan the holy scripture which tells about the begining the present and the word hereafter.Alquraan is a protected and sacred scripture where allah had decree them to be free from modification and adultrationthese had been guaranteed by allah the almighty.

  4. This is a huge play on peoples ignorance of the scriptures and of Christianity. This is so crafty and caries no light.

  5. Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

    1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

    Hebrews 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Matthew 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

Luke 3:2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3:4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

    John 11:49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, 11:50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. 11:51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
John 11:52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
11:53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

Jeremiah 23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. 23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 23:25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

John 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. 8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

2 Timothy 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

Mark 12:27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

Matthew 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Psalms 118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. 118:18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death. 118:26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

Matthew 27:62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 27:63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
Matthew 27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Matthew 28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
Matthew 28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

  6. Luke 7:6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof: 7:7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. 7:8 For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 7:9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

  7. the idea is not for him to give u all the answers. the idea is to give u a quick insight of his studies and findings for u to do ur own studies. so take advantage of his research for ur own comparison and reference. may Allah Guide u and make u beautiful.

  8. peace, brother please google "openbible prayer and fasting" and see what your bible have to say about it. this "prayer and fasting" you've accused of being of anti-christ are also been practiced by ur early respected figures. do u take fact from people or scriptures?. even jesus (pbuh) was said to have fasted for 40 days in ur bible Mt 4:1-9; Lk 4:1-2. see also JESUS TAUGHT ON FASTING IN HIS "SERMON ON THE MOUNT" Mt 6:16-18. THE COMBINED POWER OF PRAYER AND FASTING Mt 17:14-21 (Mk 9:14-29).

  9. The fact that Dr. Dirks is relying upon the Gnostics completely undermines his argument. Ignatius, Irenaeus, Hippolytus, etc., did indeed make reference to the existence of Gnosticism and acknowledged that they denied that Christ was crucified, but, contrary to Jerald's assertion, they did not recognize the Gnostics as having been Christians, but rather heretics. And lo, the teachings of Gnosticism on virtually every other issue apart from this one are contrary to Islamic teachings.

  10. the problem is nothing about mohammed can be proved– no miracles no nothing—hes the only man that claimed to do stuff but no witnesses mmmm go figer………..

  11. (cont..) Say (O Muhammad ): "O people of the Scripture : Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but God, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides God. [Quran 3:64] hope this helps you understand Islam better. Peace.

  12. (cont) Jews and christian, we believe in the miracles their prophets performed, we believed their books were holy scripture from God and got corrupted, thus, some of God's and prophets words are still in there. Now, what do they believe about Islam? they don't believe in the final prophet which they are told of, by name and attributes, in their scriptures and they believe the quran is from satan.I could quote hundreds of verses that promotes tolerance,Specially towards people of the book cont..

  13. you make such big accusation with such little proof ma man :/ you gota get specific. I'll just answer the 1st one, you say surah 2 and the quran in general sets arguments against Jew,Christian and non-believers? Well my friend, that's one of the major reasons God sent the quran, so that the disbelievers don't have any excuses when they're thrown in hell. But, if you are saying the quran promotes hatred towards non-Muslims, let's see if that's true, Muslims believe in the prophets of both (cont.)

  14. Further Qu'ran is inflammatory. Re-read Sura 2 (The Cow) and you'll note it is one long, tiresome polemical argument against Jews, Christians and non-believers. This theme is repeated ad nauseum throughout the book. Methinks Qu'ran doth protest too much. So what's more likely? Qu'ran as revelation from an invisible Allah via an illiterate Arab OR that it was written as a parry to the major competing religions of its time, namely Christianity and Judaism. Common sense dictates choice no. 2.

  15. You apparently have not read this Qu'ran carefully. What of the Qu'ran's concept of variability attributed to Allah? What? An eternal, all knowing, all powerful, unchanging god changing his mind? Q13:39: Allah doth blot out or confirm what He pleaseth: with Him is the Mother of the Book. Q2:106: None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things?

  16. "Wow! A highly biased, religious text claims it is without error and that is enough 'evidence' for you." I think you mean a highly biased interpretation. If the book lives up to it's claims then…yes! You know that the quran was revealed to Muhammad (PBUH) in a time span of 23 years? If he wrote it him self, it would surly have contradictions because as human being we develop and our ideas change, yet the quran stays uniform throughout, thus, it's from the all mighty! 😀

  17. Wow! A highly biased, religious text claims it is without error and that is enough 'evidence' for you. I have read two different translations of Qu'ran (Arberry & Yusuf Ali) and also have a transliteration so I can at least look up the original words in Arabic. I have also read much on the theologically motivated interpretations of Qu'ran. I do not find Qu'ran to be special or unique, but to be extremely biased and inflammatory, not unlike other religious texts.

  18. you tube "letters of prophet Muhammad" if you want to prove Islam is wrong, then disprove it's book, the quran. Why don't you start by buying a translation of the quran and answering the challenge the quran sets here: "Do they not then consider the Qur'an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions." (4:82)

  19. Yeah, talk about bores and boors. You take the cake. Do us a favor and learn to use LOL less frequently. Also CAPS does not make the argument better, but it does point out your troll nature. Tata silly widdle girl.

  20. As a last challenge I would ask you (or any other Muslim) to produce a single written, original source about Muhammad during his lifetime (late 6th c CE – early 7th c CE). Have fun on your wild goose chase silly girl…

  21. The silliness of the devout believer never ceases to entertain. I especially like how you studied about Muhammad with an "open mind" – I would guess so open that your good senses fell out. But keep on believing the BS. By the way most of your references got their story about Islamic origins and bio of Muhammad from the religious texts, like many others in their times. Russell was an atheist you know, but unfortuantely he was not an expert at textual criticism, history or archeology.

  22. Nice try! I like that your references are all way out-of-date and supply no new and useful information on Islam's genesis. Heck, you Muslims can't even decide the details judging by the varied and inconsistent nature of Hadiths and Sira. Perhaps you need start telling us about the current debates on Islam's origins based on archeology, critical textual methods and independent sources dating from 7th c CE. I would wish too much then, because then you'd have to actually make an effort and think.
